Background and Education
Jennifer worked as a paralegal for several years prior to attending law school. She obtained an Associate of Arts Degree from UFV in 2005, graduating with distinction, and was in the process of completing her 3rd year of a Criminal Justice Degree at UFV in 2006 when she was accepted into the Faculty of Law at UBC.
While studying at UBC, Jennifer gained invaluable experience working with a Pro Bono clinic and the UBC Law Students’ Legal Assistance Program. She completed a Juris Doctor from UBC in 2009 and was called to the bar in May 2010.
Jennifer started her legal career at Fraserwest Law Group LLP as a paralegal. She continued to work for the firm as an articled student while she completed law school, and as an associate for several years thereafter, once she was called to the bar. After working for four years at a well known insurance defence law firm in the Fraser Valley, she recently returned to Fraserwest Law Group LLP.
Jennifer has successfully represented clients at the Provincial Court of BC, the Supreme Court of BC and the BC Court of Appeal.
Jennifer practices in the areas of law prevalent to a general practice law firm with a particular interest in the areas of personal injury, general litigation and family law.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys exploring the great outdoors in the Fraser Valley and beyond; hiking, kayaking, skiing, camping and biking.
